Breilting for Bentley Mark VI Complications 29 Watch

In the past we have discussed two watches in Breitling for Bentley Serie Mark VI collections; Breitling for Bentley Mark VI Watch and the Breitling for Bentley Mark VI Complications 19 Watch. Today we will take a closer look at the Mark VI Complications 29. Breitling for Bentley’s Mark VI Complications 29 watch comes in either rose gold or platinum and is made up of approximately 500 parts. The calendar on this Breitling watch is its best feature and it is programmed to feature the date, day, week, month, season, and moon phases while being sensitive to the various leap years. Breitling World Time Application

As discussed last week, Breitling launched a Breitling World Time Application with their new website design. The Breitling World Time application is a “computing instrument that measures units or currencies that easily solve time-related calculation”. Here is a detailed account of my adventures with the Breitling World Time Application. Last week the Breitling World Time application caught my eye so I downloaded it from the web site to see exactly what it was and how I could use it. After downloading I extracted the Breitling World Time application to my desktop. After extracting I located the setup file and installed the applications to my hard rive. Next I opened up the application and started exploring! Here’s a breakdown of the features (click on image...

Introducing Breitling Watches New Website

I ran into a pleasant surprise today, Breitling has a new website, totally redesigned from yesterday. Here are a few features that I like: 1. The Landing Page Breitling new website’s landing page includes some links that were kind of hidden on the old site. In the top right corner you can quickly change the site language. In the top left corner there are quick links to Models, Retailers, Air Time, Technology, History, and Breitling For Bentley collection. At the bottom right corner the choices include Portfolio, Breitling World Time (more about this tomorrow), News, Contact, and the Breitling Copyright information. 2. Breitling Watch Model Display On the old website the Breitling Models were displayed in the bottom and sometimes froze up and took up screen...

Breitling Navitimer World Watch

The Breitling Navitimer World Watch has a big name and even bigger features.  It’s 10 percent larger than the original Breitling Navitimer Watch and has that awesome Breitling known second time zone feature. The Breitling Navitimer World Watch uses Caliber 24 to indicate a time zone in a 24 hour mode. On the caseback Breitling adds a signature touch with engraving of the time zones on the back case. Additionally this Breitling watch has a 42 hour power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 25 jewels, a dial aperture calendar, steel case or your choice of 18k rose or red gold, 3 bars of water resistance, and a bidirectional slide rule bezel. The Breitling Navitimer World watch also includes a non screw-locked crown with two gaskets, screwed in case back, and...

New Breitling for Bentley watch Bentley GMT

The newest Breitling watch to join the prestigious Breitling for Bentley watch collection is the new Bentley GMT. This Breitling chronograph is an original design including the first new black rubber strap ever in the Breitling for Bentley collection. Other features you can expect from the Breitling for Bentley watch is the precise clasp mechanism and larger dimensions of the bezel. The dial includes raised numerals and hour makers and new push pieces. The Bentley GMT also comes in some neat styles including steel and a rare red and gold version. The Bentley GMT is perfect for a world traveler due to a multiple time zone display system including an independent hour hand in which the dial does a full turn for 24 hours. Another cool globalizing feature is the inner...

Aviation’s Influence On Breitling

Aviation and Breitling watches are like a mother and her child, with out one, the other wouldn’t exist. Every watch designed, every chronograph tested, every screw inserted was influenced by aviation throughout their existence. Taking a look at Breitling history of watch designs cannot not be done without looking at the history of aviation. From 1884 until today, the rich influence of man in the air is not just noticable but clearly evident. In 1884 the a star was born as Leo Breitling opens his workshop specializing in chronographs and precision counters for systematic and industrial purposes only, soon that passion will be focused on consumers around the world. In 1891 German Otto Lilienthal, the father of aviation flew 50 meters in his glider. The very next...

How To Spot A Fake Breitling

In the 1980’s very good replicas and fake Breitling watches began to make their way into the market.  Most of them were the Breitling Aviator and Sports divers watch, Crosswind, Navitimer, and Fighter.  Unfortunately for consumers, buying a real Breitling watch can be disastrous because the fakes are actually really good. One of the best ways to spot a fake is to look at the logo.  If the logo is printed, most likely it is not a real Breitling watch.  However, if the logo is embossed you are one step closer to the genuine thing. Looking at the logo is only one way to spot a fake Breitling. If a Breitling is genuine the window for the date is large and will overlap into the second and the minute hands. Additionally, a genuine Breitling’s dial will always...

Breitling for Bentley

One of my favorite Breitling collections is Breitling for Bentley. The two brands couldn’t have been matched better by cupid himself. Both brands have a love for complex mechanics, prestige, performance, and history. Not only do they have matching business focuses, but both brands sport a winged version of the letter B for their logos. As a result of this match made in heaven a wonderful collection of chronographs were born and adopted by both watch enthusiast and the automobile world. Below is an overview of the Breitling for Bentley collection including details of my two favorite models which celebrate “beautiful motors encased in beautiful bodywork.” Bentley 6.75 Named after Bentley’s largest engine, the 6.75 litre that can be found under the hood of...

Breitling for Bentley Motors Mens Watch

Breitling for Bentley is the most popular watch brand made by collaboration between watch makers and the automotive industry. Of course, many have tried to partner, but few have received the prestige of Breitling for Bentley Watches. Breitling for Bentley watches are not the only part of the partnerships. Bentley cars, such as the Bentley Continental series also carry Breitling clocks on their dashboards. As a result, a cult following of watch enthusiast has been searching high and low to get their hands on the Breitling for Bentley watches. The new partnership is based on the craftsmanship of Bentley automobiles and the watch making talents of Breitling. A perfect example of this partnership is the Breitling for Bentley Motors Men’s Automatic watch. This...
